Cheremukhovo Children and Snow | 19 January 2014
2550 Event Participants
Despite the 20 degree below zero weather in Cheremukhovo, Sverdlovskay oblast`, Russia the World Snow Day 2014 took place in 3rd time. More than 550 kids and 2000 spectators participated in this event.

60m traditional race for the most young kids, 100m for kids 9 years age and older, families relay and this year`s innovation – old-traditional Russian games on snow.
The first time ever live internet translation was organized as well as video bridge on big screen with welcomes from Eurosport commentator Dmitriy Terekhov (Russia), Vice-President of the RBU Viktor Maigurov (Cheremukhovo is his hometown), biathlete Anton Shipulin (Russian Biathlon Team) and cross-country skier Nikita Kriukov (Russian Cross-Country Ski Team).
DJ, performers on stage, animators, showman and “on site” commentator were responsible for making people smile and laugh and enjoy the atmosphere in the stadium.
All kids got gifts and presents and all the food and beverage was for free. People could buy memorabilia and souvenirs.
Participants, spectators and organizers are waiting for the next World Snow Day 2015 to share time with family, have fun on snow and enjoy healthy life with sport!
