Childrens race for a cause | 20 January 2013
200 Event Participants
Unfortunately our World Day of Snow did not go very well, because the weather conditions were very bad, in fact, the organization of the slopes of Abetone and the Mayor felt that the event was not possible to avoid the risk someone got hurt, it rained all day a real storm. Luckily we have produced the race of solidarity in another date, on that occasion, the participants were almost 200 and we have distributed the same gadgets that we had prepared for the world snow day, medals, accessories and more.

At 13:30 begins the most anticipated race of the day abetonese: Abetone for Meyer. The clouds gave way to sunshine and 200 members at the event were able to demonstrate their ability in all serenity was provided for either an award or a final ranking list but only one time, nevertheless the participants, almost all baby, baby, kids, students battled to the last hundredth of a second because the spirit of sport has nothing to do with a trophy or a medal.

Busy day for everyone, organizers, station staff, judges, timekeepers and guard doors.
At the end of the event was given to each participant a symbolic medal put around his neck of each. But the most important thing is to have contributed to the realization of the European pilot project for a new drug that allows young patients to survive until a transplant of stem cells.
