The Canadian Ski Patrol welcomed all the children at the ski hill with free hot dogs and treats, we had an overwhelming response from the skiing public as we were treated with 35 cm of new snow the night before, which did prove to make getting things setup this year a bit of more strenuous. With the help of the Ben Eoin Race team we were able to setup a double mogul fun race for the children with each participant receiving a race diploma with their name. The children who participated were smiling from ear to ear, many of the parents were thanking the patrol for making this event such a fun one for their children, the ski hill provided advertising for the event at the hill as well as their website.The local newspaper and radio stations also provided free adverting to promote the event to the non skiing public. Local sponsors helped with the funding to hold this event by providing prizes, food discounts and printing supplies for diplomas. We gave out over 200 hot dogs to the children and a estimated 800 persons were at the event including parents.
