The whizzing down the hill, gushed in length track, hope the hill and on the rails, despite the somewhat bitter cold weather as it was full activity in Hammarbybacken in Stockholm when the World Snow day would be celebrated. Over 2000 children, youth and adults were on hand to experience a day full of ski enjoyment.
Visitors could during World Snow day trying many different ways to slide on snow by including alpine skiing (also in ports), cross-country skiing in the Children's Vasaloppet, ski jumping, and more advanced rides on rails (rails). To mark the occasion, SkiStar invited everyone up to 15 years on the free ski pass, which was much appreciated.
