It was a beautiful, sunny, winter afternoon for the successful second annual Snow Day event at Miquelon Lake Provincial Park.
After playing broomball and ice skating on the homemade rink or snowshoeing on the trails, participants warmed up by the bonfire while enjoying hot chocolate and s’mores. Families also had a fantastic time testing their natural history knowledge and physical skills during the Wacky Winter Challenge. Organizers, volunteers, and visitors alike are already looking forward to World Snow Day 2015!
