Updated FIS COVID-19 Guidelines released

14. September 2020
With many uncertainties still surrounding the winter seasons ahead, FIS have released an updated version of the COVID-19 guidelines for FIS events.

The document details the approach Organisers should take when staging events to bring children to the snow. Key items to note are:

1. The guidelines do not replace local government guidelines and restrictions. It is simply there to help plan and execute events.

2. The recommendations are based on the information provided by the World Health Organisation (WHO), International Olympic Committee and the FIS Medical Committee.

3. The WHO have released a helpful tool to assess the COVID 19 risk at sports events. We highly recommend downloading the tool utlising it before deciding on whether or not to proceed with kids events. Click here to access the tool.
