The World Snow Day in SnowKidz snowpark Ještěd - Maxiland was sunny and nice!

On Saturday January 19, 2019, one of the great World Snow Day took place of this season. Czech SnowKidz organized this snow celebration in the Liberec ski resort Ještěd - Hory za rohem, who is the partner ski resort and where is the SnowKidz snowpark Ještěd - Maxiland (from our czech snowparks project).

The weather wished us and the whole day was accompained by frosty, but sunny weather, which conjured the smile on children´s faces and even adults!

There were prepared many sport and exercise activities, but they also had to engage their brains. The program ran from early 8.00 am and was finished at 2.00 pm.

Whithin the snowpark, the children were devoted to experienced instructors from the ski school JEŠTĚD SKI SCHOOL, who gave children the lessons of downhill skiing. In conclusion, every small skier had a downhill challenge where they either competed or competed against another skier and hiked themselves. Every hero was, of course, properly rewarded with the beautiful SnowKidz wooden medal.

In addition, children could tried another skiing discipline, namely cross-country skiing. SnowKidz team offered free rental of children's cross-country skis and kids could tried on the marked track, how hard is our cross-country skiers sport. In addition, there were also "double-ski" designed by SnowKidz members - a wide ski for two - but the crossing was not easy at all, so the teenagers were the best rivals :).

Also was used newly installed children´s jumping bridge on skis and also on snow bobs! there was a lot of fun! All activities take place under the supervision of team SnowKidz who oversaw security. Another event was a race on snow plates. There were also knowledge quizzes with a winter-sports theme on small prices like snowkidz badges, lollipops, diaries for snowboarders, diaries for skiier, diaries and notebook with fairy-tale motifs, medals, diploms for racers etc.
