World Snow Day 2018 in Almaty on International Ski Jumping Complex "Sunkar" was opened with the parade of 350 participants and festive speech of the officials (Secretary General of Kazakhstan Ski Association, President of Ski Jumping & Nordic Combined Federation and Director of International Ski Jumping Complex "Sunkar").

After competitions began. Ski jumping starts were held at one time with Nordic Combined and Cross-Country. At the end winners in each age group (from masters till kids, who were born in 2010 and later) were awarded with certificates and gifts. Generally, 26 awards sets were played.

Kids who weren't involved in competitions (about 400 people, including parents) tried their skills in cross-country skiing, newcomers had a free training lessons, played active games on fresh air, sledged (from landing zone of K-125 jumping hill), made snowmen enjoyed traditional dishes and hot drinks.

At the end of the Event we had an Awarding ceremony, where winners deservedly got their prizes.

In conclusion, we can say that it was great day for kids and their parents, full of sport and fun. - Free gifts and prizes
