The worldwide famous Val di Fiemme in Northern Italy hosted the 31st running of the Topolino Cross Country Skiing Trophy (Trofeo Topolino Sci di Fondo) and over 1.300 young skiers between the ages of 8 and 16 gathered inside the famous XC stadium. During the 2-day sport event, girls and boys from 9 nations had the chance to compete in an international race and, most importantly, they all had loads of fun amongst the majestic Dolomites. ‘It’s been a fantastic opportunity for us all – said a bunch of girls from Slovenia – we won’t forget the Topolino easily’. Comments from all participants were the same of enthusiasm and joy at the end of the second day, all wishing to come back next year and experience the Trophy once more.
The Topolino Cross Country Skiing Trophy has once again been an amazing experience for everybody, a celebration of snow in all its aspects, especially the funny and entertaining ones, no matter who eventually climbed the podium.
