The Capital of Winter Olympic Games swept the wave of the snow festival in the world - the International Snow Day by FIS was held in Krasnaya Polyana, in its very heart - ski resort "Rosa Khutor"!
It was an unique opportunity to become part of the world of the snow event - only on this day with millions of families around the world you can enjoy, feel and discover the snow, the way it is - an unique natural wonder that must be protected and loved!
Ski resort "Rosa Khutor" offered young guests and their parents to join:

- Master Class Freestyle by famous Russian snowboarders
- Making snowmen
- Snowball fights

This day we celebrated with children and adults worldwide - more than 220 ski resorts in 39 countries! A lot of snow and really summer sun after a few frosty days were a real gift for all!
The main decoration of the eveny-village at 1100 m was a real igloo - ice house, which everyone could paint. Snowball fights for icy castles, attraction "Squirrel", contests and prizes from the partners of the event Skoda Yeti and Milka, great tricks by famous Russian snowboarders and most importantly - Snow Show by snowmen orchestra & two naughty hares with snowstorm trunk-by the "Fire People" theater! So, the festive program had been very busy! No one left without a gift - the sea of chocolate, diplomas and vouchers for free classes!
On 22th of January we had more than 3000 visitors included more than 300 kids!
35 young guests got free ski/snowboard lessons. 38 family teams competed on ski and snowboard courses.
The Geography of holiday included guests from Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Aksay, St. Petersburg, Stavropol, Belgrade, Krasnodar, Tikhoretsk, Novorossiysk, Sochi, Taganrog!
Almost half of the guests visited ski resort for the first time, so our aim to introduce, to teach to enjoy the Snow - had been achieved! Hooray! Great way to start a tradition! Sign Up and Welcome!
