On 15th January 2017 in the heart of the Dolomites, Heritage of the World, occured for the second time The World Snow Day!
As last year, we have organized a combined World Snow Day between our ski & snowboard School Moena Dolomiti and the ski & snowboard School Equipe Falcade and for the second years we had proposed for the event the magnificent slopes of the Ski Area Passo San Pellegrino!
It was a very beautiful day, a little bit cold, but the sun and the perfect conditions of the slopes never scared the children who desired to take part at the event!
The World Snow Day started at 10 in the morning where the kids had a meeting with our instructors for explain the topic of this year, that was the Freeride!
With the usual collaboration of the Alpine Police School of Moena, children was introduced to the subject of security and obligatory rules on the slopes as well as prevention and emergencies during the skiing.
The Alpine Police School made available their equipment like snowcats necessary for the rescues and a specialized sector of agents made an demonstration of rescues with the dogs, that earned a lot of interest in the kids!
At the event had taken part about 300 children, it was wonderful to see all this kids wearing the Audi’s bibs in the specific Audi Village set up at the start of the slopes!
At the end, with gadgets and some entertainments we said goodbye with the hope to see us again the next year, for World Snow Day 2018!
