The Fast and Female (girls 9 to 19 years old) and Boyz Got Game (boyz 11 to 14 years old) events involved hosting young aspiring cross country skiers for an afternoon of skiing and fun led by inspiring role models consisting of current and past elite cross country racers from the area. The schedule consisted of:
- Skiing
- Inspirational presentation by Olympic Medalist Sara Renner
- Zumba dance
- Autographs

The Boyz Got Game event had a similar schedule.

All participants enjoyed the event very much and the opportunity to meet a famous athlete sure made many children smile. To highlight the day the Zumba dance provided a lot of fun and smiles.
