Over 450 participants have contributed to the success of the solidarity event at Abetone in favour of Meyer Paediatric Hospital organized by non-profit Association Ciemmeesse Girotondo per il Meyer in occasion of the World Snow Day with the collaboration of Saf Ovovia, FISI-CAT, Pistoia Timekeepers, POOL Florence, TOPSKI, State Police and Florence Firefighters.
The event has merged sport, snow and solidarity together with the partecipation of 308 youngsters and 106 men and women of all ages. The day was attended by Abetone Mayor Giampiero Danti and ski champions Celina Seghi - bronze medal at 1950 Aspen World Cup - and Paride Milianti. We thank Kraft that distributed 2000 free bars of Milka chocolate and Carpe Diem official races photographers who contributed to the donations by selling photos of the race. We would also like to thank our sponsors Conti Tipocolor for the depliants and posters, CITTI for the awards and medals that have been given to all partecipants, because there were no winners or losers but only one big target: solidarety.
