The Vail/Beaver Inaugural World Snow Day was a huge success. On Sunday January 22nd, the Vail Valley Foundation organized a day that really brought smiles to kids faces. The first big snow of the year helped kick off the day where free hot chocolate and famous Beaver Creek cookies were available to all who came by. Official 2015 World Snow Day Race Bibs were handed out to the first 300 kids who came up to Beaver Creek along with official World Snow Day and 2015 stickers. We used World Snow Day as an opportunity to help promote the 2015 Alpine World Ski Championships. Parents were excited and we were told many times how much their kids were looking forward to the World Championships in 2015 and would be wearing their bibs when the event comes to Vail/Beaver Creek for the third time.
