SKI CENTRE FIS WSD EVENT put skiing & snowboarding on the map IRELAND.

1,454 skiers (many first timers) enjoyed ski and snowboarding lessons over the World Snow Day Weekend Events and over 3,500 enquiries about skiing after the event… the phone has not stopped ringing - with enquiries from a huge number of people who never skied before are walking through our doors for the first time! Ski Centre has been 100% full since the event to today 20th Feb 2017!


WSD was a huge success thanks to the Ski Association of Ireland event organised at  Indoor Ski Centre Dublin.  “We truly brought the mountains to the customers - they were able to ski on our indoor slopes… we snow blowers creating that Alpine atmosphere - and afterward customers got a chance to explore the SKI GYM which included “Skiers Edge” trainers, balance boards, 15m slacklines!!! and a non-stop climbing wall. It was amazing to see children playing & doing exercise) alongside their parents… just having fun. It was a fantastic event” say James McCormack Manager Ski Centre. 

The event was promoted on Radio FM104 (to over 129,000 daily listeners), in Dublin's Herald Newspaper (255,000  daily readers) and direct emails to Ski Centre's Ski Partners (Crystal, Highlife, Snow+Rock, Great Outdoors, 53 Degrees North, Dare2B, Getcover travel insurance) reaching in excess of 500,000 customers throughout Ireland.  In total 1,454 skiers (many first timers) enjoyed ski and snowboarding lessons over the World Snow Day Weekend Events and over 3,500 enquiries about skiing after the event.

We brought the mountains to the customers so they could:
* Ski the longest (non-stop) slopes in the world
* Climb our non-stop climbing wall
* Walk the longest indoor slack line in Ireland
