The Canadian Ski Patrol held World Snow Day at Ben Eoin Nova Scotia on January 18th to a record number of participant's, the weather was ideal for this event and with the extra media attention we received the turnout of children and parents total over a 1000 at our hill. The patrol gave out over 500 free hot dogs, as well a candy treat bags for all the children. We held a fun race for any of the children who wanted to try the course the youngest was 4 years old. The Audi tent and race gear was well received and hill management was very impressed by the turnout. Prizes were awarded to all participants of the race and diplomas were given out with their names printed on them. Hot chocolate and cupcakes were supplied by the ski hill to all the skiers and boarders and the hills mascot Bearski was also in attendance.
