The World Snow Day started at 10am at Passo San Pellegrino with kids meeting the ski instructors for a short briefing.
The World Snow Day Topic of 2017 had been the Freeride, so the kids were introduced by the Alpine Police School of Moena regarding security and necessary rules on the slopes, in case of emergency and accident or while skiing.
A rescue patrol specialized for avalanche with dogs captured their full attention and interest all along the day.
