As already the weatherforecast was unfortunately very bad for the weekend of the 21st and 22nd january, we didn't expect a lot of participants. The preparation for this event was quite intense therefore kept on to think positive. Finally the 22nd was a snowy and windy day until afternoon, therefore we didn't have that much children/families coming to our SCHLIGLU TAG. Anyway, the ones which found the way to our event and participated at this day, were more than happy and we spent a funny day together. The children had the possiblities of building igloos, constructing an enormous snowman, taking part at the sledge race with different prizes for everyone or to slide down the snow tube run. They had been entertained by the "Guggemusic" Tabula Rasa, especially organized from Bern. As the weather was not that good, we installed as well some games inside a stable, which is used on this alp for parties as well. They played ice cube curling, they slinged rubber boots into milk kettles to warm themselves up again for the happening outside in the snow. It was a funny and succesfull day which ended with beautiful sunshine and the unique panoramic view to the lake of Thun, the Bernese Alps and as well to the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau! A lot of happy and glad children went home with nice and new snow memories and a Diploma of the sledge race.
