The 2019 World Snow Day and International Children's Ski Festival was grandly opened on January 20th (Sunday) at the Lushan Ski Resort (sub-conference venue) in Taibai County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province. With the theme of “Winter Olympics, Healthy Childhood”, the event adheres to the tenet of “experience, happiness and exploration” and spreads skiing knowledge and winter knowledge for young skiers. The World Snow Day event has a wide geographical distribution and has played a positive role in “leading 300 million people to participate in the snow and ice movement”.
As the premier ski resort in the Northwest, Lushan Ski Resort has once again participated in this event and actively assumed the role of the World Snow Day venue. For the young skiers who came to participate in this event, they set up a complete platform, provided more than 10 ski instructors, popularized skiing knowledge for the public, explained technical knowledge for ski enthusiasts, and volunteered to provide teaching services. A total of more than 100 children on the day, put on equipment, enter the snow field, and experience the joy of snow and ice.
