Following success of the last twelve years we would like to invite children and their families to enjoy snow in the mountain village Gudauri, a ski resort only 90 minutes drive from the Georgian capital Tbilisi. Perched in the heart of the Greater Caucasus, surrounded by a vista of dramatic peaks and breathtaking gorges, Gudauri is spectacular on every level. Set high above the clouds, Gudauri’s southern facing ensures plenty of sunshine and excellent snow conditions until late April.

Georgian Ski Federation will be promoting on 21st of January 2024 the celebration of the World Snow Day in Gudauri Ski Resort staging free lessons from our volunteer ski coaches. Then for the more experienced there will be a relay competition among the children from various ski schools as well as general public representing various groups. The relay race will feature skiing, snowboarding, tube sliding, as well as various fun elements such as overcoming various obstacles in a certain way with certain emphasis on team work. The festival will be concluded by the special celebration during the relay race awards ceremony.
