Dear World Snow Day, The Ski Centre Mavrovo finished the World Snow Day 2016 with more participants and more successfully than last year, full filling our aim.
Every children till 12 years of age had free ski pass for the day with free ski equipment, as well as free skiing lessons provided by Snow Sports Academy Ski instructors Mavrovo. On the ice skating area the entrance was free for every kid who wants to be there. The lessons for skiing, advices from professionals with presents for every kid finishing the track especially designed for them, was nice at the Mavrovo slopes to be seen. There were kids with parents for the first time at Mavrovo and on the snow, not only from our country, there were guests from Kosovo, Albania and Turkey, too. The fun and smile on there faces were our best awards. Beside the fact that we had bad weather conditions, light rain and wind again for this special day and it was not so pleasant at all, 925 guests were more than enough for wonderful audience for the special programme that was made near by the starting points of the chair lifts. The whole Programme is listed below. The excellent marks that we heard about the skiing area for beginners speaks a lot for the professional and well done job by the team from the Snow Sports Academy Mavrovo, as well as our partners trough this event, Exploring Macedonia, Increasing Market Employability-IME, SwissContact and SDC, a big thanks to all of them. We are happy to say that we had much more better event than last year, hoping to goes better every year in future, bringing more and more participants.
