The Canadian Ski Patrol held events at various locations across Canada some of which were Canmore Nordic Center which was attended by Olympian Sara Renner as well as races, chili, skiing with ambassadors, at Mt. Norquay •Winter Carnival with snow castles
•marshmallows, fire pits, hot chocolate
•snow tubing , at Lake Louise•Ice carving competition
•snowboard cross
•avalanche awareness days
•deals on rentals, hotels, lifts
At Ben Eoin we had free food for all who attended as well as patrollers gave out treats to those wearing helmets and also ballots were passed out to all the children who attended for some great prizes , everyone who participated was given a prize safety presentations on the benifits of wearing a helmet was given at the beginning of the day.
There were many other areas that held events but as of this time final reports were not available as some of the organizers have not submitted them due to other obligations.- Free ski passes
