You have now found the place where the new Culture project SKIUMEÅ2014 will grow exponentially. The project with a passion for skiing, snow, and all possible winter, want to highlight these elements and deliver superior snökultur to ski enthusiasts and aspiring Olympic hopes in the Umeå region. This exciting initiative will promote the expansion of winter range by running sub-projects and forming new bright ideas into reality!

We are going to arrange a wide variety of events in the Umeå area. The visitors of World Snow Day will find great opportunities to get to know the snow even better! Our aim is to bring the new Swedes, both children and grownups, to fun winter activities. They can for example try on skiing, snowshoeing and Snowslider. The ski resorts in this area will offer nice prices on lift tickets.
