| FIS World Snow Day in Bobrovylog | 20 January 2013 |

On the 20th of January World Snow Day was held in Funpark Bobrovy log for the second time. As far as we are in Siberia the day was a little bit frosty -20C. But it didn’t change the mood of Krasnoyarsk dwellers and city guests to celebrate the World Snow Day with the other participants all over the world. Indeed, it was a great holiday on snow for children and their parents as well!
The program of the day started with competitions Snow Bobronauts for the youngsters from 4 up to 12 years old, more than 60 participants took part in the competition. Little ski & snowboard fans had to ride the distance of 250 meters under the control of qualified instructors.
That day one more competition was held. Nonprofessional ski & snowboard annual competition initiated by FunPark Bobrovylog - FUN CUP this time was held in individual & family team classifications and also gathered around 60 participants .
For those who didn’t take part in competitions, there were organized various snow locations such as open-air winter game zones for children & their parents called “Snow-mania”.
Little Funpark quests could learn basic skating elements & combinations from the Master of Sports in figure skating Julia Konnova. The others could express their artistic talents in the children drawing contest «Snow is…» & in master class «How to make a snowflake». Family teams could participate in snow figures contest.
To create a proper mood that day helped live DJ sets from famous radio station «Silver rain».
Everybody could take a memory photo for free from the mobile photo station.
In addition, during the day world famous ski brands ATOMIC & SALOMON equipments’ test season 2013 was available on the Funpark territory.
“This is the second time we’ve been participating in such a great project! And although the weather was a little bit frosty, happy children faces made it much more warm! - commented on Elena Gavrilova, Funpark Bobrovylog general director . This year the number of young participants was two times more & we’re happy to help children to learn how great it is to spend time outdoors on snow!»
