Mt Maichen, Yukon | Canada
Fun games and an treasure hunt | 14 January 2017

Over forty years ago, Mt Maichen was developed as an alpine ski area for the community of Watson Lake and surrounding areas. An avid group of volunteers (skiers and non-skiers) formed the Watson Lake Ski Club and dedicated their time, energy and personal resources to develop the ski area’s facilities into what it is today. Due to the strong commitment of the non-profit society, the support of the local community and municipality, and support from various funding sources, the ski area has been in continuous operation since it first opened.

To celebrate World Snow day the Watson Lake Ski Club along with the Canadian Ski Patrol will organize a fun day for the children of Watson Lake in the Yukon, Canada. We have a small ski hill with a terrain park and nine runs. One of the events will be a scavenger hunt and possibly a fun obstacle race. The day will end with marshmallows and free hot goodies for all participants.

All activities are free of charge. We look forward to your company on World Snow Day, see you then
