Castle Mountain Resort, Alberta | Canada
Ski and Snowboard Fun Ski Race | 14 January 2017

In the early 60's a few avid skiers and entrepreneurs had a vision to bring down hill skiing to the Canadian Rockies in South Western Alberta. In 1965 that dream was realized in the opening the West Castle Ski Hill. It has grown and evolved over the years to include a terrain park, magic carpet, cat skiing, snowshoeing, cross country skiing plus a new name. Castle Mountain Resort. The ski hill has managed to maintain it's ambiance of a local family ski hill, even to welcoming 3rd & 4th generation skiers.

We are excited to bring World Snow Day to Castle Mountain Resort to encourage children to have fun in the snow.

The Canadian Ski Patrol and Castle Mountain Resort will host a fun ski/snowboard race for all children 12 and under with prizes for all. The event will finish off with a free lunch for all participants, out in the snow!
