Explore, enjoy & experience was the aim of World Snow Day and here at Aberdeen Snowsports Centre we ran taster sessions to give people the chance to try skiing or snowboarding and explore, enjoy and experience snowsports for themselves.
Our taster sessions ran throughout the day for all age groups for skiing and snowboarding. These were hour long sessions designed to get the never-evers excited and involved in skiing or snowboarding. The weather held out and while we may not have had the snow seen at other World Snow Days, our dryski slope taster sessions were a sell-out. Our ever helpful instructors were on hand to carefully introduce people to skiing and snowboarding and ensure that everyone left with smiles on their faces.
Our club, Aberdeen Snowsports Club, was also involved in some of the World Snow Day events taking place up at Glenshee on January 22nd and we provided transport up there from Aberdeen for those that needed it. |
