World Snow Day Report 2012

World Snow Day is an international holiday, which is organized by Bukovel Ski School with a help of FIS, SR “Bukovel”, SR “Plai”, SR “Vyshgora” and Ski Federation of Ukraine.
It was conducted 22-23th of January on the following ski resorts: “Bukovel”, “Plai”,”Vyshgora”.
Bukovel Ski School created a real holiday for child: free training, team competitons and award of participants – everything was waiting for kids, who would like to get on skis this winter season. There were trained 83 kids on SR “Bukovel”, 48 children on SR “Vyshgora” and 8 young skiers on SR “Vyshgora”. Total is 139 kids tried themselves to get on skis.
After training pupils were divided into teams, which were included of 8 participants and had a possibility to take part in child competitions, which is liked a lot by a small skiers.
Final level of the holiday was a festive awarding of participants by a personal diplomas, which were a memory for children in order to remind kids about their first attempt to get on skis.
World Snow Day is one more social project, which is organized by Bukovel Ski School for popularization of healthy way-life and involvement into ski sport and active rest on snow.
