The SOS kids village arrived at noon on Saturday. Soon after they enjoyed a hot meal at the Hotel Bodminearby the beginners' slope called Bodmi. The 4 ski- and snowboardinstructors accompanied the whole group up to the skiarea First and skied on blue an red slopes. All kids were already experienced skiers or boarders. The sledging parallel competition in the evening was good fun for everyone. The downtown lodge, in the center of Grindelwald, was with the dormitories the perfect place to spend the night. Some kids stay up all night and played games.
On Sunday the kids enjoyed their second day with wintersports at the skiing area First in Grindelwald. |
